A little more about this survey

Recreation is currently restricted in our drinking water catchments.

This survey asked if our customers and community support these restrictions, or if you would like greater access to our dams and catchments for activities such as boating, fishing and hiking.

The outcomes will inform our decision making around catchment protection, and will be considered alongside economic, environment and water quality studies. Learn more via our FAQs.

This research project is being conducted by a PhD Candidate at the University of Newcastle, in collaboration with Hunter Water.
