Lostock Dam to Glennies Creek Dam Pipeline with Paterson River Connection

In Planning

In partnership with Water Infrastructure NSW, we’ve started the initial planning for the proposed two-way pipeline between Lostock Dam and Glennies Creek Dam. This project may also include a Paterson River pump station, which would transfer water to a new water treatment plant south of Paterson, and a new drinking water pipeline between Paterson and the Maitland region.

Belmont desalination plant

We are planning to build a permanent desalination plant at Belmont. A permanent plant is a key action in the recently released Lower Hunter Water Security Plan.

Customer and Community Advisory Group

Hunter Water's Customer and Community Advisory Group (CCAG) is an advisory forum made up of community representatives who provide advice on customer and community interests.

Throsby Creek Government Agencies Committee

We are working together to further improve the environment of the Throsby Creek waterway and its surrounds, and the amenity of the area for residents, visitors and commercial users.
